Given the Scattered Order’s long and varied history it is a testament to their resilience that none of the current band members particularly feel like they are part of a scene or genre. Their roots are in the DIY/post punk/art noise of the late 1970’s. They exist outside the zeitgeist and legacy mode of their contemporaries from that era.

Mitch Jones is the mainstay and driving force within the band. He has been there all the way through since its inception in 1979. As with any long standing musical act there are many manifestations of style, personnel and technology along the way.

Thirteen years ago the band settled on the current lineup with founding members Mitch Jones and Michael Tee joined by Shane Fahey.

Scattered Order with their assembled collection of eccentric sound tools are always fermenting dangerous sonic gases: sometimes absurdly pleasant, sometimes scarily abrasive, always multi- layered and certainly hurtling towards a blissful destination.

The new album PRANG which features remixes of the “Everything happened in the beginning” and “Where is the windy gun?” albums is out now on the Rather be Vinyl label.

Terrificus
Insouciant as they are sensitive, harrowing as they are humorous - Terrificus is fearless. Expect crushing fuzz, caustic MPC beats, triumphant synth lines and lyrics that range from apocalyptic streets to skin care techniques, from neurosciences to kitchen appliances.

Since their inception in 2010 Constant Light has run the gamut of exploratory pop music from 70s style Kosmische motorik improvisation, 80s synth-pop and forward looking futurist-experimentalism.
